It’s time to choose courage daily. Last week I posted about courage over comfort . It made me think about my own journey out of my comfort zone.
I started a podcast, moChats, last year which really stretched me out of my comfort zone. I had to learn the nuts and bolts of podcasting. Literally figure it out along the way, all while doing it messy many times over and over again.
There were many times Doubting Debbie showed up. I often wondered if anyone would listen to what I had to say or be a guest on the podcast. I had to dig deep into courage to take action so that I could move forward to a realized goal.
A Goal In The Making
This goal had been about six or seven years in the making. And I was reminded of this as I was decluttering my basement and came across some old journals. I had written that I wanted to start a podcast and had some possible names for it.
Well, March 2020 hit us and pandemic life came into full force. This allowed me the time to dabble into podcasting and moChats was born. Ten episodes later, Season 1 was complete. I was honored to have the opportunity to chat with some amazing women about living life on their terms.
I learned a lot about myself. Figuring out the technology piece definetly had its challenges. Stayed the course. Aligned myself to doing the work I was called to do….all because I decided to choose courage.

moChats is now choose courage daily
I learned to be brave to reach out to a podcast guest, record and edit the episode; upload an episode, promote the episode and do it over and over again.
I am so proud of the first season and so excited to be working on Season 2! Season 2 comes with a name change. The name needed to reflect the work I was doing and the direction I want to grow.
I am excited to announce moChats is now…… choose courage daily.
choose courage daily is all about the journey to choosing courage and will consist of interviews and solos episodes. You can listen and read more here.
Courage and Vulnerability
So, here I am choosing courage again, showing up and putting myself out there. You can’t choose courage without being vulnerable. I have certainly learned that.
Brene Brown reminds us that “Vulnerability is hard, and it’s scary, and it feels dangerous, but it’s not as hard, scary or dangerous as getting to the end of our lives and having to ask ourselves, ‘What if I would’ve shown up?”
I don’t want to end up wondering what if I didn’t start that podcast, change the name and show up? It’s not always easy. I know choosing courage and being vulnerable will lead me to the best version of my truth and myself.
You can listen here to Season 2 of choose courage daily. Make sure to hit the subscribe button so you can be notified of new episodes. You can also leave a review. I would love to hear from you!
